Last night saw some brilliant Football played, bringing the meadowfield league to a close. The horrible weather wasn't enough to stop the teams who showed some brilliant skill and determination, on the deciding matches, with Brandon crowned champions. The Football Leagues continued last night (8/10) at a chilly but sunny DCBC; after a washout the day before for Meadowfield and Durham Johnston. Hundereds of children participated in the Durham and Chester-le street school sports partnership Cross Country, on Wednesdy the 7th October at Meadowfield leisure centre.
