Infant Athletes have fun at Festivals

March 20th, 2014

Infant Agility festivals returned again this year for our Key Stage 1 children. Three different festivals took place at Roseberry, Durham Johnston and Hermitage, with over 700 children taking part.

A carousel of athletic activities was set up for the children to enjoy including the stepper, balancer and launcher! The festival is a great introduction to athletics for the Key Stage 1 children and gives them the chance to develop agility, balance and coordination.

There was a huge emphasis on fun in all of the festivals and everyone put in a massive amount of effort, never giving up and trying to improve with each go. We had some great team work too with the children cheering each other on.

The festivals could not have happened without the fantastic leaders from Roseberry, Durham Johnston and Hermitage who made sure all the children had a fantastic time, thank you!
